On January 17th, 18th and 19th the fifth appointment of Parthenope took place, a kendo and naginata practice project in friendship. after 3 appointments on naginata and one on kendo, with three Korean masters, the shiai seminar was organized with Loic Delalande, godan and coach of the French national team. the Parthenope project, which always takes place in January, has the ambition of becoming a fixed international event, with moments of study, verification and competition.
20 participants, coming from Italy, France, Belgium and Hungary, had the opportunity to practice under the impeccable and stimulating direction of one of the best technicians in the international field. particular care on the tenouchi, on the ashisabaki in shiai, on the seme, involved everyone, making the three days precious for the contents and subsequent studies.
we are already working on the next appointment in January 2026 (shikkage oji and zen nihon kata).
one last thing about the project and the dojo. we propose a social practice, in a difficult environment, where no one participate, and we try to recover the necessary material everywhere. bogu, sune ate, kote, naginata, etc…. see you on January 16th 17th 18th 2026 for Parhenope 6!!
