Grade examination

The grade examination is always a question that comes back during these kind of events so we would like to clarify (if possible) a few questions.

Written exams:

  • The written exam will take place in the cafeteria of the main sport hall (E1) on Monday the 31st of October 2016 just after lunch at 13:00 until 14:00pm.
  • This exam concerns only the people going for the dan examination.
  • The questions will be inspired from the book « NAGINATA, History and Practice » of Alex Bennett.
  • The persons who want to answer in another language than English have to ask in advance so that we check if there is a translator available for correction.

Dan exams:

  • The dan exams will take place in the main sport hall (E1), on Tuesday the 1st of November 2016 from 14:00pm till 17:00pm under the supervision of the ENF Technical director.
  • People who want to register for an exam until 3rd Dan have to submit the authorization of their sensei, or their federation validation.
  • If the registration fee hasn’t been send with the seminar registration it will be done at the written exam.
  • The program of the exam is the same as for the INF dan examination.

Renshi 3 years or over after 5 Dan over 28 years old
Kyoshi 7 years or over after Renshi over 35 years old

Shinsa-in’s qualification

  1. Shinsa-in shall be Renshi or above.
  2. Shinsa-in shall be instructor s in their own countries.
  3. They shall receive a recommendation from the directors committee and shall be appointed by the AJNF chief director.

 

Shingi-in’s qualification

  1. Shingi-in shall be Kyoshi or above.
  2. They shall be instructor s in their own countries.
  3. They shall receive a recommendation from the Hanshi committee and shall be appointed by the AJNF chief director.

Kyu exams :

  • The kyu exams will take place in the main sport hall (E1), on Tuesday the 1st of November 2016 from 14:00pm to 17:00pm under the supervision of the ABNF Technical Members.
  • If the registration fee hasn’t been send with the seminar registration i twill be done before the grading.
  • The program of the exam is the program of the Belgian Federation that you can find here under.
