Naginataka from all dojos of the DNagB (German Naginata Federation/Organization) had been there: in mid-March, they met at a seminar in Berlin – For two days, beginners and more experienced practitioners alike trained together, got to know each other or met once more.
As teacher and friend Mark Berghaan from the Netherlands joined the event, whom most of us surely know.
Not only did he lead the Saturday morning seminar open to DNagB members of all experience levels. He had also come to support a premiere. On Saturday afternoon, a separate seminar took place, tailored towards examiners and future examiners of the DNagB.
The following day, some of them put their new knowledge and previous experience to the test in DNagB kyu-grade examinations.
15 examinees in total were able to show what they had learned in the last few months, which was was quite a lot.
Congratulations for all exams and a big “thank you” to everyone who helped to make this Naginata weekend possible!
